I moved! I finally have my own small place in Korea. For now I have 6 months contract as I have no idea what will happen next. Are you curious what my flat looks like? Wait no more and continue reading.
Dear kids, today's lesson is about the Alien Registration Card and how to obtain it without looking like a total idiot. We have a beautiful example of how not to present yourself - me. At the start we will also look at how to get a job (also without looking like an idiot, of course).
So, today I had my first job interview. Whaaat, like a few days in Korea and already an interview?? Yeah, I know, someone's got a pretty low standards. Anyways, here are a few points of good preparation: Hello everyone!
My name is Sunhye (or Aya but why not use Korean nickname now?), I'm 24 years old and I'm probably an idiot. Why? Well, prepare yourself for a longer paragraph. Last year I was able to finally make my bigger dream come true and I spent two weeks in Korea. I was dreaming about it for 5 years since I became interested in k-pop so it was a big thing for me. And it became even bigger. I totally fell in love with South Korea. The people are so nice. Once me and my friends were just looking around in underground and suddenly there was a cute guy trying to help us even when he barely knew English. The food is great. I most probably lost some weight (or even better, weight was probably the same but I got more muscles from walking a lot and lost some fat; win win) and no, I was not starving like a poor tourist. Just everything was so nice and the things I love (aka cosmetics and k-pop merchandise) are so much cheaper than when I order them from Europe. I knew I want to go back. |
